Your Inbox is Secretly Stealing Two Weeks of Your Life Every Year!
,
Did you know that on average, we spend a staggering 14 days each year just checking and responding to emails? That's the length of an annual vacation! And that doesn't even account for all the other inboxes we juggle daily, like Slack, text messages, and social media.
But the real cost of this constant email checking isn't just time. It's the ripple effect it has on our productivity and well-being. The constant interruption decreases our focus, increases stress and anxiety, and encourages excessive multitasking. Ultimately, it robs us of the ability to engage in deep work, which is where we produce the most value.
Whether you're a knowledge worker, freelancer, or entrepreneur, your job isn't to check email for a living. And the good news is, you don't have to.
Inspired by Cal Newport's concept of Slow Productivity, I've found a way to dramatically reduce the time spent on email management by building an AI Chief of Staff. This AI not only sorts and manages my emails but also drafts replies, freeing up my time and mental energy for more meaningful work.
Curious to learn more? I've written a detailed blog post about this transformative approach to email management. In it, I share the steps I took to build my AI Chief of Staff and the remarkable impact it's had on my productivity.
